Demonstration and reasoning on the roast profile translation feature that was introduced in Typica 1.4.

At the time this video was created, nobody was talking about development time ratio, but the experiment described here clearly demonstrates why that isn’t a meaningful concept. Since this video was put together, several roasters have replicated this experiment and have reported measurably improved production consistency after enabling profile translation in Typica.
