CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover – how to clean

Mix one part CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover to eight parts water for a 10-12 cup automatic drip coffee maker. Run the solution through the coffee maker as if making coffee. Dispose of the solution once the product has run completely through the maker, then run three full pots of clear, cold water through complete cycles. Instructions are for a regular 8-12 cup coffee maker. Do not use CLR in coffee makers that hold water permanently. CLR is not recommended for Gevalia, Keurig or Cuisinart coffee makers. Do not use CLR in espresso machines. Always read your coffee maker’s manufacturer’s directions before using CLR Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover to make sure the product is compatible. Certain coffee makers contain permanent carbon/charcoal filters and you should not use CLR in them. Consumer discretion is always advised.
